Role Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Data Migration Functional Support – Package Specialist (Oracle HCM Cloud) to support a large-scale HR, Finance, and Payroll transformation programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for Oracle HCM Cloud data migration activities, including data loading, validation, reconciliation, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality migration outcomes across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud data migration activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform data extraction, data loading, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Execute data migration activities using established migration processes and best practices.
- Investigate and resolve data migration issues by coordinating with technical developers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
- Analyse migration results and ensure successful completion of data validation and reconciliation activities.
- Produce data migration reports, status updates, and outcome documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data quality issues and migration defects.
- Ensure compliance with Oracle HCM security requirements and data governance standards.
- Support testing activities related to migrated data, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Maintain effective communication with project teams and stakeholders throughout migration cycles.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud or other SaaS HCM implementation and data migration projects.
- Strong expertise in:
- Data Migration
- Data Loading
- Data Validation
- Data Reconciliation
- Data Quality Management
- Data Cleansing
- Experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud security roles and access controls.
- Strong understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud business processes and data structures.
- Experience coordinating issue resolution across technical, functional, and business teams.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Oracle HCM Cloud Modules
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following Oracle HCM Cloud modules:
- Core HR
- Absence Management
- Performance Management
- Case Management (Case Work)
- Learning & Development
- Oracle Recruiting
- Project Resource Deployment
- Strategic Workforce Planning
- Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA)
- Journeys
- Payroll
Mandatory Requirements
- UK National with a minimum of 5 years' continuous residency in the UK.
- Experience working with SaaS HCM applications.
- Proven experience in Oracle HCM Cloud data migration, data loading, and reconciliation activities.
- Knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud security configuration and application.
- Experience producing migration reports and communicating progress to project stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or public sector transformation programmes.
- Experience working within HR, Payroll, and Finance system implementations.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
