Vantage Point Global is supporting a major transformation programme within the media sector, focused on the evolution of a large media organisation as part of a wider data-driven transformation.

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to support the design and execution of data migration activity across critical systems and platforms.

This role sits within a complex transformation programme and carries responsibility for shaping and delivering data migration activity in close collaboration with architecture, delivery, and testing teams. The Data Migration Lead will support the overall migration design, ensure data quality and integrity, and play a key role in preparing the organisation for successful cutover and post-migration operations.

We are particularly interested in individuals who can combine strong analytical capability with hands-on migration delivery experience, and who are comfortable working across source and target systems, data quality remediation, and migration testing in a fast-paced transformation environment.

What you will be doing

  • Analyse source and target data structures to understand differences, dependencies, and risks
  • Define and document data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation rules
  • Support the Business Architect in performing detailed data analysis to inform migration design
  • Identify data quality issues and support the definition and execution of data cleansing and remediation plans
  • Contribute to the definition of the overall data migration approach, including sequencing, dependency management, and cutover considerations
  • Produce clear migration specifications, validation rules, and test data to support delivery and testing
  • Support data migration testing activities, including reconciliation, issue investigation, and resolution
  • Assist in specifying data reporting and data quality requirements for migration and post-migration states
  • Provide input into operational data ownership, controls, and post-migration monitoring arrangements
  • Work within programme governance structures, supporting mobilisation and ongoing delivery

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
