Data Migration Lead
Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Contract: 6 Months
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Lead to drive the end-to-end data migration strategy for a large-scale banking transformation programme. This strategic leadership role requires someone who can define migration architecture, governance, and delivery while working closely with senior stakeholders and C-level executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the enterprise-wide data migration strategy and roadmap.
- Establish migration architecture, governance, and best practices.
- Lead data migration across multiple transformation initiatives.
- Work with business, technology, and architecture teams to ensure successful migration delivery.
- Provide leadership throughout planning, execution, testing, and go-live activities.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.

Migration Scope
- Core Banking Migration (Temenos T24 to Finacle preferred, or similar)
- Legacy CRM to New CRM Platform
- Legacy Data Platform to NextGen Data Platform
- Document Management Migration
Required Skills

- 12+ years of experience in Data Migration leadership.
- Strong experience delivering enterprise-scale banking data migration programmes.
- Expertise in Data Migration Architecture, Governance, and Roadmap Planning.
- Hands-on experience with Core Banking migrations, preferably Temenos T24 to Finacle or similar.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple transformation programmes simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
