Data Modeller
Location: London (Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite) Salary: Up to £65,000 + benefits

The Role
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support key business initiatives
- Contribute to the design and evolution of data architecture standards and best practices
- Work across multiple projects, ensuring consistency in modelling approaches and data structures
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and governance teams to deliver high-quality data solutions
- Support the transition towards modern, cloud-based data platforms and architectural frameworks
- Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into structured data models
- Learn and develop towards a Data Architect role through mentoring and hands-on experience
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience in data modelling across enterprise environments
- Experience with data modelling methodologies such as dimensional modelling, Kimball, or Data Vault
- Exposure to modern cloud data platforms, ideally within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Familiarity with tools such as DBT, Python, or PySpark is beneficial
- Experience working in data transformation or modernisation programmes
- Understanding of architecture principles or a clear interest in developing into a Data Architect
- Confidence engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
