Tech Pipeline helps operations teams fix the broken middle of their business processes. We address the friction that occurs when tech stacks outgrow the people using them. For this project, our client is a large-scale logistics firm managing complex shipping cycles and internal data distribution.

About the role

In this role, you will help us untangle the data inconsistencies that slow down our client:s daily operations. This is a practical, hands-on position focused on finding the source of truth in messy spreadsheets and system logs. You will spend your time identifying exactly where data goes bad: whether it is a broken routing rule, a manual entry error, or an integration gap between two different software tools. You will work alongside our senior team to ensure that information moves correctly through the pipeline without requiring manual intervention from the client:s staff. This is a fully remote position that requires a high degree of focus and the ability to work through detailed records systematically.

What you will be doing

  • Compare export files from different systems to pick out discrepancies and errors.
  • Update system routing rules to make sure data is sent to the correct department.
  • Trace specific shipment records through the database to find where the history was lost.
  • Clean up backlogs of records that have been stuck in manual review for too long.
  • Document the steps taken to fix specific errors so the client can replicate the fix later.
  • Verify that data feeds are correctly formatted before they enter the main reporting pipeline.
  • Monitor daily logs for common failure flags and resolve them following established protocols.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of accounts to ensure financial and operational data match.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Working at Tech Pipeline

We believe that clarity is more important than speed. At Tech Pipeline, we do not spend a lot of time in meetings or on video calls. We move the work forward through clear documentation and weekly written updates. We want our team to be able to focus on the technical reality of the systems we fix without being interrupted by corporate noise. We are not here to sell abstract frameworks: we are here to make things work. Because our team is distributed, we prioritize being concise and technical in our internal communication. We stay with a project until the fix sticks, ensuring that when we hand a system back to a client, they are fully prepared to run it themselves. This approach allows us to maintain a sustainable pace while delivering results that actually last.
