This is the build-the-plumbing role.
You'll stand up and run the data platform that everyone else builds on, for a large regulated organisation modernising its data estate.
What You'll Do
- Build and operate the Snowflake platform on AWS, running on OpenShift.
- Own CI/CD for data: deployment pipelines, environments, and the tooling that lets data engineers ship safely.
- Treat infrastructure as code and keep the platform reliable, observable, and secure.
- Partner with the architect and data engineers to turn design into working platform.
What We're Looking For
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Strong Snowflake platform experience, not just querying it.
- Solid AWS and container experience, ideally OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Real CI/CD experience applied to data workloads.
- An infrastructure-as-code mindset and a habit of automating the boring parts.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot as part of your everyday workflow.
Bonus points for experience in a regulated or financial services setting.
