Day rate contract Travel to the West London office
We're looking for a Data Platform Implementation Lead to design, build, and govern an enterprise-scale data platform for a business undergoing a major separation/carve-out programme. This is a high-impact role combining technical leadership, solution architecture, and stakeholder management, shaping how a growing organisation leverages data to drive AI-ready insights and business value.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the design and delivery of a modern data platform using Microsoft Fabric:
- OneLake
- Data Factory
- Synapse
- Power BI

Architecting end-to-end data solutions including:
- Ingestion
- Transformation
- Storage
- Semantic modelling
- Consumption

Driving integration across:
- Dataverse
- Dynamics 365 F&O
- Financial systems such as OneStream

Laying the data foundations for AI and Copilot-driven use cases

Establishing enterprise data governance, including:
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Compliance frameworks (including Microsoft Purview)

Leading cross-functional teams (implementing partners, data analysts, architects, and business analysts)

Partnering with senior stakeholders to shape the wider data and reporting strategy

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience leading enterprise data platform implementations end-to-end

Deep expertise across:
- Microsoft Fabric
- Dataverse
- Dynamics 365 F&O

Experience integrating finance systems (e.g. OneStream) into a broader data architecture

Strong grounding in:
- Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Data warehousing/lakehouse design
- Data governance tools

Background in finance-integrated environments

Excellent stakeholder management with fluency across technical and business audiences
