Data Protection & Privacy Consultant
📍 London - Hybrid (minimum 2 days in office)

We’re looking for an experienced Data Protection & Privacy Consultant to join a growing team and support a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on privacy operations with client-facing consultancy, helping organisations navigate complex data protection challenges in a practical and commercially focused way.
🔍 What you’ll be doing
- Acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients on all data protection matters
- Supporting and delivering privacy programmes, including DPIAs, LIAs, RoPAs, and data mapping
- Identifying and managing data protection and cyber risks
- Providing pragmatic advice on UK GDPR and international privacy regulations
- Supporting data breach response and regulatory compliance (including ICO engagement)
- Developing and implementing policies, governance frameworks, and privacy controls
- Delivering training and awareness sessions to stakeholders
- Supporting or acting as an outsourced DPO for clients
- Working with and configuring OneTrust (or similar privacy platforms)
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership

✅ What we’re looking for
- ~5+ years’ experience in data protection / privacy roles
- Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR (and ideally EU/international frameworks)
- Hands-on experience with:
- DPIAs, LIAs, RoPAs
- Data mapping & asset registers
- Supplier risk assessments & contracts
- Incident/breach management & DSARs
- IAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPM or equivalent)
- Experience with privacy management tools (OneTrust preferred)
- Comfortable working with clients and senior stakeholders
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
