Data Privacy Governance and Compliance Officer
Location: UK (Hybrid with some travel to UK offices) Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
We have an opening for an additional role within our UK Privacy Risk and Compliance team. Reporting into the Data Privacy Director, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop or refine your GDPR/DPA expertise in a global leader in BPO, working closely with clients and internal teams to meet legislative requirements through best-practice data privacy, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities
Applies and maintains the Triple Point (TP) Control framework for corporate data privacy, governance, and compliance across the UK and Ireland, including but not limited to:
- Privacy Notices
- Records of Processing
- Consent Management
- Control Monitoring, Evidencing, Uploads, and Reporting
- Regulator Point of Contact (POC)
- Legal Regulation Horizon Scanning & Compliance
- Record Retention policies
- Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) Management
- Incident Management procedures
- Vendor Contract Review & Due Diligence oversight
- Risk Identification & Mitigation Strategies
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Legislative Compliance
- Government & Regulatory Demand Handling
- Supporting client bids and due diligence audits

Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Fluent in English
- Demonstrates Integrity and Commitment / Highly self-driven personal discipline
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) across all levels
- Ability to engage assertively with stakeholders across the organisation
- Previous risk, compliance, or privacy experience
- Strong analytical abilities & critical thinking to tackle complex problems
- Active stakeholder management in conjunction with risk & compliance objectives
- Problem-solving with natural curiosity and a high focus on risk mitigation
- Ability to prioritise risk to ensure timely compliance actions
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with Data Privacy Regulations (preferably with a recognised certification — eligibility to acquire one within 6 months)
- Working knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) legislation
