🔒 Global Data Privacy Manager (12-Month FTC)

📍 West London | Hybrid (3 days in the office)

💰 £75,000 - £80,000 + 10% Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced data privacy professional looking for an opportunity to broaden your expertise within a truly global organisation?

I'm partnering with an international business to recruit a Global Data Privacy Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative legal team where you'll work alongside experienced privacy specialists, gaining exposure to complex, international data privacy matters across multiple jurisdictions.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of a varied workload and partnering with stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on a wide range of global data privacy matters across Europe, North America and APAC.
  • Drafting and reviewing Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Data Transfer Agreements (DTAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
  • Supporting global privacy governance and compliance programmes.
  • Managing data subject requests and data breach incidents.
  • Advising on privacy considerations for business projects, including HR, marketing, e-commerce and technology implementations.
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and providing practical guidance to stakeholders.
  • Maintaining privacy documentation, policies and records of processing activities.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Significant experience in data privacy, ideally gained in-house within an international organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and wider international privacy legislation.
  • Experience reviewing and advising on the data privacy aspects of commercial contracts.
  • A proactive, organised and commercially minded approach.
  • The confidence to work independently while collaborating with legal and business stakeholders globally.
