Data Product Owner
Location: UK (Home-based with occasional travel, UK-wide)
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + Benefits
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
About the Opportunity
Community Partners is delighted to be supporting a leading FTSE 250 organisation with the appointment of an experienced Data Product Owner to join a significant digital transformation programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how data is leveraged across a large, complex organisation. Working at the intersection of business, technology and data, you'll take ownership of data products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they deliver measurable business value and support strategic decision making.
This is not a traditional technical data role. Success will come from your ability to understand business challenges, engage stakeholders and translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
The Role
You'll work closely with business leaders, operational teams and technology specialists to define, develop and continuously improve a portfolio of data products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning data products throughout their full lifecycle
- Defining product vision, priorities and roadmaps
- Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements
- Working with technical teams to translate requirements into deliverable solutions
- Managing senior stakeholder relationships across multiple business functions
- Facilitating workshops and challenging business thinking where appropriate
- Championing data quality, governance and adoption
- Supporting Agile product delivery and continuous improvement
- Identifying opportunities to maximise business value through data and analytics

About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong stakeholder management skills with business analysis and product ownership experience.
You'll ideally have experience in:
- Data Product Ownership
- Business Analysis
- Product Ownership or Product Management
- Data and Analytics
- Digital Transformation
- Agile delivery methodologies
- Requirements gathering and process mapping
- Stakeholder engagement at senior leadership level
Most importantly, you'll be an excellent communicator who enjoys solving problems, influencing decision makers and bringing clarity to complex business challenges.

Location & Working Pattern
- Home-based anywhere in the UK
- Approximately one day per week on-site (various UK locations)
- Around one day per month in the Midlands, UK
- Occasional travel to regional offices as required
Package
- £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience
