Data Product Solutions Consultant

London or Amsterdam

Up to £75,000

This is a rare opportunity to join the consulting division of one of the world's most recognisable creative and strategic groups — a business that works with some of the most iconic brands on the planet, from global consumer giants to sports federations, luxury houses and technology leaders.

The division has developed something genuinely new: a proprietary measurement platform — built in collaboration with one of the world's leading business schools and underpinned by over a billion data points — that quantifies the commercial return on cultural influence for brands. The research behind it has been peer-validated and is already being deployed with major global clients.

They're now building the technical product layer that will power this platform at scale, and they're looking for someone to be a core part of that build from day one.

The Role

You'll sit at the intersection of data science, product build, and client delivery. Working directly with the Director of Effectiveness Solutions and alongside the Director of AI & Product, you'll be turning a validated methodology into working data products — pipelines, integrations, dashboards, and client-facing deliverables — using AI-assisted development as a core part of your workflow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This isn't a maintenance role. You'll be building v1 of something that doesn't yet fully exist, for clients who include some of the biggest brand names in the world. Low ego, high ownership — the team is small, the brief is ambitious, and the work will be visible.

You'll also be client-facing. That means presenting outputs, walking brand teams through methodology in plain language, and pushing back confidently when questions are based on a misreading of the data.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines pulling from APIs, transforming messy real-world datasets into clean, queryable structures
  • Own the statistical rigour of outputs — applying hypothesis testing, regression, and inferential techniques to determine when results are meaningful versus artefacts
  • Develop analytical data layers and dashboards that translate complex methodology into clear client deliverables
  • Work with AI coding tools as a genuine accelerant — shipping working code faster, with opinions about when agentic approaches work and when they don't
  • Present findings and methodology directly to brand teams and senior stakeholders, with the confidence to hold a room and challenge assumptions
  • Co-define the work — you'll be shaping the brief, not just executing tickets

What we are looking for

Technical depth: 3+ years working hands-on with data in Python and SQL — building pipelines, integrating APIs (REST, OAuth), and working with cloud infrastructure end-to-end

Statistical judgement: Solid grounding in descriptive and inferential statistics — distributions, hypothesis testing, regression, confidence intervals. You understand when results are trustworthy and when they're not

Stakeholder confidence: Proven ability to present analytical work to non-technical audiences — clients, strategists, or senior leadership — and to push back politely when questions rest on a misreading of the data

Founder mindset: You're genuinely comfortable in a founding-stage environment. You build things, define things, and take ownership without waiting to be told

Some additional desirable skills that would be of interest

  • Experience with dbt, dimensional modelling, or building analytical data layers
  • Demonstrable use of AI coding tools to ship working code — and real opinions about the limits of agentic development
  • A background in data science or machine learning
  • Exposure to marketing data ecosystems — ad platform APIs, brand tracking, or audience data
