Role Title: Data Protection Administrator

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Salary: £29,940 - £37,425 per annum dependent on experience

Contract: Permanent

Location: Hybrid between our Mariner House, Dartford office and home

Interviews: 23rd /24th July

About the Role

At Moat, our people are central to delivering safe, high-quality homes and services that enable our customers to thrive. By supporting, developing and empowering our colleagues, we ensure they can provide the best possible service to the communities we serve.

We’re looking for a Data Protection Administrator to join our team and play a key role in delivering our data protection processes and supporting compliance across the organisation.

As a Data Protection Administrator, you’ll report into the Data Protection Lead and work closely with the Data Protection Coordinator, with a primary focus on managing Subject Access Requests (SARs). This will form the majority of your day-to-day work, including logging requests, gathering and reviewing information, applying redactions, and ensuring responses are accurate, compliant and delivered within statutory deadlines.

You’ll maintain clear audit trails and ensure all SAR activity is recorded accurately in line with data protection requirements. Alongside this, you’ll manage queries received from both customers and colleagues through the Data Protection inbox and internal ticketing systems, communicating directly to provide clear, accurate and empathetic responses on a range of data protection matters.

The role will involve supporting the management of data breaches by recording reports, tracking actions, supporting investigations, and helping to ensure lessons learned are embedded. You’ll maintain key registers and records, process CCTV requests, support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and contribute to wider compliance activities to help Moat meet its legal and regulatory obligations.

We’re looking for someone who has strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and can manage competing priorities while handling sensitive information. You’ll be comfortable following established procedures, identifying potential risks or issues, and building positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
