About The Role
Data Protection Compliance Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting MAG’s Data Protection and Privacy Strategy. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting compliance with information governance, data protection laws, and best practices
- Developing and delivering data protection awareness programmes and training initiatives
- Managing daily query resolution and transactional requests for the Data Protection Officer (DPO) team
- Providing advice on breach-related incidents and supporting incident response
- Analysing data trends and preparing clear, stakeholder-friendly briefings on controls
What Will Make You Successful?
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements (including GDPR, data protection, confidentiality, cybersecurity, and privacy by design)
- Experience interpreting data processing records and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and control standards
- Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient in meeting minutes documentation

- Excellent communication – engaging stakeholders (internal and external) on data protection legislation
- Highly customer-focused, with strong expectation management and relationship-building abilities
- Keen attention to detail for accurate reporting and compliance documentation
