About The Role

Data Protection Compliance Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting MAG’s Data Protection and Privacy Strategy. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting compliance with information governance, data protection laws, and best practices
  • Developing and delivering data protection awareness programmes and training initiatives
  • Managing daily query resolution and transactional requests for the Data Protection Officer (DPO) team
  • Providing advice on breach-related incidents and supporting incident response
  • Analysing data trends and preparing clear, stakeholder-friendly briefings on controls

What Will Make You Successful?

Knowledge & Skills

  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements (including GDPR, data protection, confidentiality, cybersecurity, and privacy by design)
  • Experience interpreting data processing records and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and control standards
  • Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient in meeting minutes documentation

  • Excellent communication – engaging stakeholders (internal and external) on data protection legislation
  • Highly customer-focused, with strong expectation management and relationship-building abilities
  • Keen attention to detail for accurate reporting and compliance documentation
