The Role
We are recruiting a Data Protection Overlay Executive to support the continued growth of a specialist data protection and cyber resilience portfolio, with a particular focus on Rubrik solutions.
Acting as a key overlay resource for the wider sales function, you'll help identify new opportunities, support customer engagements, drive pipeline generation and maximise renewal and growth opportunities. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with technology sales support, business development or vendor experience who is looking to specialise in a high-growth area of the cyber security market.

- Support the sales team in identifying, qualifying and progressing data protection opportunities.
- Act as a subject matter specialist for Rubrik and related data protection solutions across the business.
- Work alongside Business Development Managers to increase pipeline generation and customer engagement.
- Assist with renewal management, cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the existing customer base.
- Support the planning and execution of vendor-led sales and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate opportunity management and reporting through CRM systems.
- Deliver sales enablement support to help internal teams confidently position data protection solutions.
- Produce pipeline, forecasting and performance reports for key internal stakeholders and vendor partners.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, sales teams, vendor representatives and internal departments.
- Support wider cyber security and information assurance objectives across the business.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience within a technology sales, business development, sales support or account management environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting.
- A proactive, collaborative and results-driven approach.

Advantageous
- Exposure to data protection, backup, recovery, cyber security or cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Rubrik or similar vendors such as Commvault, Veeam, Cohesity or Veritas.
- Experience working with technology vendors and partner ecosystems.
- Understanding of the IT channel, managed services or enterprise technology markets.
- Experience supporting renewals and subscription-based technology solutions.
