Role Overview
Phoenix enables digital transformation across the UK public sector, empowering organisations to innovate with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, data, AI, security and collaboration technologies.
We are now hiring a Data Protection Sales Support Executive to join our Cyber Advisory team and support the continued growth of our data protection portfolio. This role will focus on generating pipeline, supporting sales activity, managing renewals and helping increase the adoption of data protection solutions across our customer base.
Responsibilities
- Act as a specialist resource, supporting Data Protection Business Development Managers in positioning and promoting data protection solutions
- Support sales teams with renewal quotes and identifying upsell opportunities
- Work closely with the deal registration team to ensure opportunities are accurate and up to date
- Deliver sales enablement support and training to help sales teams confidently position data protection solutions
- Support the creation, execution and tracking of data protection sales and marketing campaigns
- Assist with forecasting activities and pipeline management
- Work closely with strategic vendors to retain renewals and maximise growth opportunities
- Ensure all leads and opportunities are tracked and managed through D365
- Produce regular pipeline reporting for internal stakeholders and vendor partners
- Build strong relationships with sales teams, vendors and internal stakeholders to support business growth
- Support information security objectives and company policies

Requirements
- Experience in a business development, sales support or customer-facing role within the technology sector
- Awareness of data protection solutions and the wider cyber security market
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing pipeline data and reporting
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams
- Commercially aware with a proactive and results-focused approach
- Confidence working with vendors, customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
Experience & Qualifications
- GCSE / A-Level education or equivalent
- Ideally 3+ years' experience within a technology sales, business development or sales support role
- Experience working with vendors, renewals or technology solutions desirable
- An interest in cyber security and data protection technologies would be beneficial

Practical Information
Location
Primary location is our HQ in Pocklington (YO42).
Working Arrangements
Hybrid working is supported, with flexibility depending on business requirements.
Interview Process
Following a screen with the Recruitment Team, you can expect a two-stage interview process, one online and one in-person.
BPSS Check
As part of our recruitment process and due to the nature of the work we do, all employees are required to undertake a BPSS check. While some employees may require further security clearance, the BPSS check is mandatory and all offers of employment are conditional upon successful completion.
