Data Protection Solicitor 2+ PQE Birmingham Up to c GBP 95,000 DOE Hybrid Working
A leading national law firm is looking to strengthen its specialist Data Protection and Information Governance team with the addition of a talented solicitor or experienced data protection professional.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an award:winning practice advising on complex, high:value and often high:profile matters within an increasingly important and fast:evolving area of law.
The Role
Role
You'll play a key role within a collaborative and highly regarded team, working on a wide range of contentious data protection and information law matters, including:
Subject Access Requests (DSARs) Freedom of Information (FOI) requests Personal data breaches and incident response Wider data protection and information governance issues
This is a hands:on position offering exposure to challenging work, with the chance to develop your expertise in a supportive and forward:thinking environment.

About You
Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE, or a skilled in:house data protection professional Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act Proven experience handling DSARs, FOIA requests, and data breach responses A commercial, pragmatic approach to problem solving
Desirable
Experience in cyber incidents and contentious data protection matters Exposure to tribunal proceedings or litigation
