Data QA Tester
Data Tester
£45,000 to £50,000 Permanent role Remote
Please note: Candidates must have full right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available for this role.
La Fosse has partnered with a growing events business to hire a Data Tester to support the quality and integrity of their data platforms. Operating in a fast-paced, data driven environment, the business relies on accurate and reliable data to power reporting, customer insights, and event delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 to 3 years experience to further develop their skills in data validation, testing frameworks, and modern data tooling, working closely with data engineers and gaining exposure to end-to-end data pipelines in a live, commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Validate data pipelines and data models against source systems
- Perform data testing, unit testing, and reconciliation across datasets
- Write and execute SQL queries to support validation and analysis
- Work closely with Data Engineers to understand transformations and logic
- Support quality assurance across ETL/data pipeline processes

Key Skills & Experience
- Data testing / data QA
- Data pipelines or data engineering environments
- Strong SQL skills (comfortable with joins, queries, and validation)
- Understanding of data models and data validation techniques
- Exposure to Python (ability to read/understand code)
- Experience with Databricks (nice to have)
