Data Scientist – Databricks AI Platform
Contract | 16 weeks | ASAP | Up to £650/day
SR2 is partnering with an exciting client to deliver a Databricks AI Platform Buildout. We’re looking for an experienced Data Scientist to support the implementation of production-ready AI solutions.
You’ll be working on:
- Databricks AI platform implementation
- Bronze, Silver and Gold Delta pipelines
- AI agents, vector databases and unstructured data processing
- LLMOps, prompt management and context engineering
- Productionising AI solutions
- Building lightweight front-end applications

You’ll bring:

- 4+ years’ Data Science experience
- 2+ years’ consulting experience
- Strong Databricks knowledge, including PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and MLflow
- Experience with Databricks AI features and agentic frameworks
- Python, GitHub and CI/CD experience
- Proven experience delivering AI/LLM solutions into production
- Existing Databricks DPP vetting is essential
