About the Role

myPOS is building a high-impact Data Science function to build the intelligence layer of one of Europe’s fastest-growing payment and commerce platforms.

As a Data Scientist, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to develop models that make smarter decisions across Sales, Marketing, Risk, Operations, Product, and Technology. You’ll work on customer lifetime value (CLTV), churn prediction, fraud detection, Next Best Action (NBA) decisioning, and LLM-powered workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Your work will span Domains with growing demand in quantitative fields such as:

  • Customer-centric models:
    • Build and refine Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV), churn prediction, and propensity-to-buy models
    • Define and maintain Next Most Likely Product (NMLP) models
  • Fraud and Risk:
    • Develop transaction-level fraud classifiers, merchant behaviour anomaly detectors, and risk scoring models
  • Action-driven AI:
    • Feed model insights into a dynamic NBA engine (Sales, Marketing, in-product)
    • A/B test, uplift analysis, and multi-armed bandit evaluations to validate incremental impact
  • Systems and infrastructure:
    • Design end-to-end ML pipelines for data extraction, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and production deployment
    • Monitor deployed models for degradation, data drift, performance metrics
  • Enterprise collaboration:
    • Translate business challenges into data science solutions – engaging with Sales, Marketing, Risk, Operations, and Product teams
    • Present statistical analyses with clarity for all levels of stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
  • Advanced AI architectures:
    • Prototype and integrate LLM-powered agentic workflows using structured frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, function calling, and RAG
  • Documentation:
    • Author model cards, methodological playbooks, and internal knowledge resources for team growth

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
