Data Scientist
London - hybrid 2x per week
Up to £65,000
This is a strong opportunity for a Data Scientist to join a well-established data and analytics consultancy, working at the intersection of advanced analytics, proprietary data, and real-world commercial impact. You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end data science solutions while gaining exposure to a variety of industries and high-impact use cases.

The Role
- Build and deploy predictive models, particularly focused on propensity and customer behaviour modelling
- Translate business challenges into analytical approaches through stakeholder engagement and data discovery
- Work closely with project managers, subject matter experts, and data analysts to deliver client solutions
- Run data discovery sessions and present findings back to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Develop segmentation models and scorecards to optimise customer engagement and decision making
- Contribute to the design and development of scalable data products and analytical solutions
- Continuously refine and retrain models to improve performance and relevance
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience in data science or advanced analytics
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling
- Experience working with large and complex datasets, such as transactional or behavioural data
- Good understanding of data modelling concepts and feature engineering techniques
- Exposure to cloud platforms, ideally Azure, and experience with Databricks is beneficial
- Confident communicating insights to stakeholders and presenting to clients
- Experience working in a consultancy or client facing environment is advantageous
