Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $30–$100/hour
About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Data Scientist (ML) to work on a contract basis. The role involves developing and deploying machine learning (ML) models to improve predictive accuracy for client datasets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions and automate workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, train, and optimize machine learning models for:
- Classification
- Regression
- Clustering tasks
- Preprocess and analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to extract actionable insights
- Implement and maintain MLOps pipelines, including:
- Model deployment
- Monitoring
- Retraining processes
- Develop and document reproducible experiments using:
- Python
- Jupyter notebooks
- Version control systems
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders via:
- Clear visualizations
- Technical reports

Skills & Qualifications
Required
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- SQL expertise for:
- Data extraction
- Transformation
- Analysis
- Strong background in:
- Statistical modeling
- Experimental design
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for model deployment
- Ability to self-manage in a remote environment with minimal supervision
