We are currently seeking a Data Scientist. This is a full-time remote position.
As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing data-driven solutions that improve products, business processes, and user experiences. You will combine analytics, machine learning, statistical modeling, and software engineering to solve complex business challenges and generate meaningful impact across the organization.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop predictive models, design experiments, explore new data sources, and support strategic initiatives through rigorous analysis and creative problem-solving. This role offers the opportunity to build innovative solutions while contributing to a collaborative and fast-paced remote environment.
Your Day-to-Day
- Build, maintain, and improve predictive models and data-driven decision systems.
- Explore internal and external data sources to identify opportunities for improving model performance and business outcomes.
- Design, implement, and analyze experiments to evaluate new algorithms, technologies, and processes.
- Prototype analytical solutions to address business and operational challenges.
- Recommend and support strategic decisions through rigorous analytics and creative problem-solving.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement advanced analytical methods and machine learning techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and operations, to translate business questions into actionable insights.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Support the deployment and monitoring of data science solutions in production environments.
- Stay current with developments in machine learning, analytics, and AI-enabled technologies.

Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, or related fields.
- Master's degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or Physics.
- Strong proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and machine learning tools and libraries.
- Experience applying advanced analytical and statistical models to real-world problems.
- Ability to design rigorous research methodologies and evaluation frameworks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote and collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in engineering or production environments.
- Knowledge of Git, DevOps practices, or MLOps concepts.
- Experience using or implementing AI-enabled and agentic AI tools.
- Prior experience in technology, remote work, or marketplace/platform-based businesses is a plus.
