Data Scientist (Assistant Manager / Manager)
📍 London (Hybrid)
đź’° ÂŁ50,000 - ÂŁ80,000 + Bonus + Benefits
The Opportunity
We're supporting a specialist analytics and consulting team that works on some of the most complex decision-making challenges facing organisations today.
The team combines Data Science, AI and Simulation to help senior business leaders answer difficult questions, optimise operations and make high-value strategic decisions.
This is an opportunity to join a highly technical environment made up of Data Scientists, Engineers, Physicists and other STEM specialists working across a diverse range of industries and projects.
The role can be hired at either Assistant Manager or Manager level depending on experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building analytical, statistical and machine learning models
- Applying Data Science, AI and simulation techniques to real-world business challenges
- Working with complex datasets to generate meaningful insights
- Developing solutions using Python and modern data science tooling
- Communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Working directly with stakeholders to understand problems and shape solutions
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across analytics, technology and strategy

What We're Looking For
- Degree, Masters or PhD in a STEM discipline
- Commercial experience in Data Science, Analytics, Machine Learning, Simulation or a related field
- Strong Python skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability
- Understanding of statistical modelling and data analysis techniques
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly
