Senior Decision Scientist

Brighton | Up to £90,000 + Benefits

If you enjoy using data to influence product direction, solve complex business problems and drive measurable commercial outcomes, this could be an excellent next step. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, experimentation, product and AI, offering the opportunity to work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape decisions that directly impact customers and business performance.

The Company

As they continue to scale, they are evolving their Data function to embed Decision Scientists more closely within product teams, ensuring data plays a central role in strategic and operational decision-making.

The Role

As a Senior Decision Scientist, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and stakeholders to uncover opportunities, measure impact and influence decision-making.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Identifying and investigating business and product opportunities
  • Using data to shape product strategy and prioritisation
  • Designing and measuring experiments and A/B tests
  • Defining success metrics and evaluating feature performance
  • Translating complex analysis into clear recommendations
  • Supporting the development of data-driven product features
  • Helping teams understand customer behaviour and journey friction points
  • Exploring how AI and data can be used to improve customer experiences
  • Acting as a trusted partner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business and wants to see their work directly influence product and commercial outcomes.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in analytics, decision science, product analytics or data science
  • A commercial mindset and a genuine interest in solving business problems
  • Experience working with experimentation and statistical testing
  • Strong SQL skills and experience using Python or R
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly and influence stakeholders
  • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and helping shape solutions
  • Interest in AI, machine learning and emerging technologies
