Senior Decision Scientist
Brighton | Up to £90,000 + Benefits

As they continue to scale, they are evolving their Data function to embed Decision Scientists more closely within product teams, ensuring data plays a central role in strategic and operational decision-making.

The Role
As a Senior Decision Scientist, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and stakeholders to uncover opportunities, measure impact and influence decision-making.

You'll be responsible for:
- Identifying and investigating business and product opportunities
- Using data to shape product strategy and prioritisation
- Designing and measuring experiments and A/B tests
- Defining success metrics and evaluating feature performance
- Translating complex analysis into clear recommendations
- Supporting the development of data-driven product features
- Helping teams understand customer behaviour and journey friction points
- Exploring how AI and data can be used to improve customer experiences
- Acting as a trusted partner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business and wants to see their work directly influence product and commercial outcomes.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in analytics, decision science, product analytics or data science
- A commercial mindset and a genuine interest in solving business problems
- Experience working with experimentation and statistical testing
- Strong SQL skills and experience using Python or R
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and influence stakeholders
- Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and helping shape solutions
- Interest in AI, machine learning and emerging technologies
