Data Scientist (CRM & Customer Behaviour Analysis)

Location: Hybrid (after 3 months) Company: EveryMatrix Eligibility: Global (attractive remuneration package)

EveryMatrix is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in CRM and customer behaviour analysis to join our CRM Data Science team.


About the Role

You will play a crucial role in analysing customer behaviour on our gambling platforms, providing data-driven insights and building predictive features to drive business strategies and enhance customer engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity to experientially shape a new real-time CRM platform, with a significant impact on product development and strategy execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse large datasets to uncover patterns and insights in customer behaviour
  • Develop predictive models to forecast customer activities and trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Apply machine learning techniques to optimise:
    • CRM strategies
    • Automated campaign optimisation
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

✅ Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (statistics, computer science, economics, data science, or equivalent experience) ✅ Proven experience in:

  • Large-scale data analysis and hypothesis testing
  • Statistical analysis and predictive modelling ✅ Technical proficiency:
  • Strong working knowledge of Python (pandas, scipy, numpy, scikit-learn) or R (tidyverse / data.table).
  • Solid understanding of SQL. ✅ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail ✅ Excellent communication abilities to present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders ✅ Willingness to own analytics projects from conception to production and beyond

Preferred & Differentiating Experience:

🔥 Experience in an analytics role within the gambling industry 🔥 Expertise in CRM data analysis and customer segmentation 🔥 Knowledge of tensorflow / pytorch 🔥 Data visualization proficiency:

  • Google Looker and Google BigQuery 🔥 Experience in design and evaluation of A/B tests 🔥 Familiarity with Bayesian statistics, Bayesian programming (e.g., PyMC3) 🔥 Application of optimization theory or reinforcement learning on automated testing platforms
