Role: Data Scientist

Location: Sheffield, UK (Occasional Travel)

Employment Type: Inside IR35 Contract

Description:

  • Experience with Use case prioritisation for Data scientists
  • Knowledge of data science workflows and Knowledge Graph concepts to direct and quality-assure outputs from Data Scientists and AI Engineers
  • Background in coordinating data workstreams across multiple delivery pods
  • Experienced engaging with client SMEs to run workshops, validate requirements, and manage working-level expectations independently
  • Strong understanding of data lineage, governance, and access control in financial services
  • Confident working-level communicator with business and technical stakeholders
  • Technologies:
    • Databricks; medallion data architecture/ML/Graph DB/Agent AI/Unity Catalog
    • Databases; sqlite/azure blob/azure SQL DB/GCP Big Query
    • Integration: Azure Data Factory
  • Functional Experience: Experience in workforce intelligence applications
