About the Role
We're working with a global healthcare communications and technology business that is growing its Medical Analytics & Innovation team.
They are looking for a Data Scientist with strong experience across machine learning, NLP, generative AI, and data engineering to help build real-world AI products within healthcare and life sciences.
Responsibilities
This role would suit someone who enjoys going beyond analysis — building scalable tools, models, and workflows that have practical client impact.
You’ll be involved in:
- Delivering end-to-end data science projects
- Building and optimising ML, NLP, and AI solutions
- Working with LLM APIs, prompt design, RAG, vector search, and GenAI platforms
- Designing scalable data pipelines using structured and unstructured data
- Working with APIs, cloud platforms, and modern data tools
- Creating reusable frameworks and analytical products

Requirements
The ideal person will bring:
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Experience in data science, ML, AI, NLP, or similar
- A degree in Statistics, Physics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience deploying ML/NLP solutions into production
- Hands-on experience with LLMs/GenAI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure OpenAI
- Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
