Data Scientist - AI & Advanced Analytics
London | Hybrid Working | £50-80,000 + Package (experience dependent)
Are you a data scientist who thrives on solving complex problems and turning data into meaningful business outcomes? We're looking for individuals with strong analytical foundations, commercial data science experience and a genuine interest in applying AI and machine learning to real-world challenges.
You'll join a rapidly growing team working at the intersection of data science, AI and business strategy, helping organisations make smarter, evidence-based decisions through advanced analytics and innovative technologies.

Responsibilities
- Apply data science, machine learning and AI techniques to generate insight and create business value.
- Develop and maintain analytical models and solutions using Python.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and define analytical approaches.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build proof-of-concepts, prototypes and demonstrations to test ideas and create value quickly.
- Utilise modern AI tools to enhance productivity and accelerate delivery.
- Contribute to innovation through the adoption of new technologies, methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent quantitative discipline.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking and statistical foundations.
- Commercial experience delivering data science, machine learning or AI solutions.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with common data science libraries.
- Understanding of modern AI concepts, including large language models and retrieval-based approaches.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
- Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable Experience
- Experience developing rapid prototypes or proof-of-concept solutions.
- Exposure to tools such as GitHub Copilot, Databricks or MLflow.
- Previous consulting, advisory or client-facing experience.
- Industry expertise within a specific sector or domain.
