- Identity & Access Management
- Security Engineering
- IAM Administration
- Privileged Access Management
We work alongside Security Operations and Governance, Risk & Compliance, protecting Arup’s platforms, information, and data.

As the Data Security Service Lead, you’ll lead the establishment of Arup’s new Data Security service, defining its:
- Vision
- Operating model
- Roadmap
- Measures of success
Your role will involve:
- Building and guiding a high-performing team
- Establishing clear governance frameworks
- Collaborating with stakeholders across Cyber Resilience to embed data protection into the firm’s operations
- Holding single-point ownership for data security outcomes, including:
- Formulating and implementing a Data Security Plan for sustained operational delivery
- Defining a strategic roadmap covering governance, classification, DLP, encryption, monitoring, and resilience
- Translating strategy into actionable priorities, recommending solutions to complex data risks, and ensuring continuous improvement

Key strengths to thrive in this role: Deep expertise in data security, classification, DLP, encryption, and data lifecycle protection
- Proficiency in standards & frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls)
- Proven ability to own or lead global enterprise-scale security services
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing both senior leaders and technical teams
- Agility to balance strategic vision and operational delivery
