The Opportunity
Are you a master translator of data who can turn complex measurement strategies into clear, actionable roadmaps that clients love to use?
Open Partners is looking for a Data Senior Partner to own the translation of data strategy into delivery. This critical role bridges the gap between our high-level measurement thinking and client-facing execution. Sitting alongside our engineering capability, you will be the near-term priority as we rebuild this part of our team, turning technical concepts into work that internal teams and clients understand, adopt, and act on.
Your Role & Responsibilities
You will balance commercial acumen with clear communication to ensure our data and measurement projects are delivered flawlessly:
- Strategy Translation & Execution: Take high-level data strategies, concepts, and plans, and turn them into highly structured, clear delivery plans.
- Client-Facing Delivery: Lead live data and measurement projects, acting as the primary face of data delivery for clients and ensuring they fully understand the value of what is being delivered.
- Technical Translation: Act as the strategic bridge between our technical engineering team and non-technical stakeholders, bringing complex data concepts to life in a way that is clear and compelling.
- Commercial Partner Funding: Proactively identify and secure funding opportunities from key platform partners including Google, Meta, and Amazon.
- Engineering Collaboration: Partner closely with the Data Centre of Excellence engineering team, clearly briefing in technical requirements without needing to write the code yourself.
- Quality & Governance: Act as the senior escalation point for clients on data delivery, reducing project drift and establishing clear definitions of done.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
