ZX Measurement Services

ZX Measurement Services, a subsidiary to the industry leading Lidar provider - ZX Lidars.

We are a specialist measurement services provider in the Renewable Energy Sector leading the market in the provision of ZX 300 Lidar rental, power supply design, system operation, turnkey measurement services including meteorological mast installation services.

Working alongside ZX Lidars who are pioneering the use of laser anemometry in the wind energy sector, we are driving down costs and lead times for new wind farms and helping turbine manufacturers to monitor and improve the performance of turbines in the field. Our technology is particularly suited to marine applications where ZX Lidars are responsible for a significant number of wind measurements offshore, in support of offshore wind farm development. We are seeking a Data Services Manager to join ZX Measurement Services, based in Blantyre, Glasgow offering a hybrid work pattern.

This is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise, analytical leadership and commercial innovation. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping and delivering ZX Measurement Services evolving data and integrated services offering, supporting our transition from a lidar-led rental business to a fully integrated measurement and data solutions provider.

You will be responsible for developing analytical services, supporting measurement campaigns, delivering high-quality datasets and helping identify opportunities to enhance customer value and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of ZX Measurement Services data and measurement service offering, identifying opportunities to add value for customers.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of measurement projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Help maintain and enhance the quality of measurement data, digital tools and reporting services.
  • Work closely with customers, consultants and internal teams to deliver a high-quality service experience.
  • Provide technical input to measurement system design, site assessment and the development of new service capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • Strong understanding of wind resource measurement principles and industry standards, including IEC and MEASNET guidance.
  • Experience analysing and managing complex technical and environmental datasets.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and site layout plans.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and technical report-writing skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across both technical and commercial teams.
