Senior Data Architecture Consultant – Hybrid Cloud & Financial Services

Key Responsibilities
In this critical role, you will:
- Design end-to-end data architecture solutions covering:
- Ingestion
- Storage
- Processing
- Consumption layers
- Define cross-cloud and cross-organisational data-sharing frameworks (e.g., Snowflake Data Sharing)
- Collaborate with Group Security and Compliance to ensure architectures align with:
- BCBS 239 (Banking regulations)
- GDPR (Data privacy standards)
- Lead the decommissioning roadmap for on-premises data applications, mapping legacy systems to AWS/Snowflake migrations.

Must-Have Skills & Experience
Mandatory Requirements
✅ Architectural Experience
- Proven ability to architect large-scale hybrid cloud (AWS + Snowflake) data solutions
- End-to-end data architecture design: stiching together ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption layers

✅ Domain Knowledge
- Deep expertise in private banking, wealth management, or financial services data regulations
- Strong awareness of data governance, security, and compliance trends in regulatory environments
✅ Certifications & Frameworks
- TOGAF certification (or equivalent)
- AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialist or AWS Data Solutions Architect – Professional
- Experience with Snowflake architecture, optimisation, and data governance
