Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of Marketing Effectiveness and advanced analytics solutions, with a particular focus on Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), Pricing Analytics and data-driven decision platforms.
This role will provide end-to-end solution architecture leadership across a portfolio of marketing analytics products, ensuring that data platforms, analytics applications and AI capabilities are scalable, secure and aligned with business objectives.
The successful candidate will combine strong Azure and Databricks expertise with deep knowledge of data architecture, analytics platforms and stakeholder engagement. They will act as the key architectural authority across marketing effectiveness initiatives, working closely with Product Owners, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions into production.
Key results from this role will see:
- Successful delivery of solutions into production aligned with enterprise standards
- A reduction in time to provide architecture and a repeatable use of patterns
- Compliance with Responsible AI, Regulatory requirements and Architecture and Engineering standards
- Delivery risk mitigation and overall lower cost to achieve solutions
- Play an active role in the MET tribe (marketing effectiveness tribe) and own end to end architecture view for Forge 360 product suite as well as upstream connections to data foundations.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture Leadership
- Define end-to-end solution architectures for marketing analytics and data products.
- Own the architecture strategy and technical roadmap for MMM, pricing analytics and marketing effectiveness platforms.
- Provide architectural leadership across the full solution lifecycle, from design through to production deployment.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, security requirements and governance frameworks.
- Produce and maintain solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, patterns and technical documentation.

Marketing Mix Modelling & Analytics
- Act as the architecture lead for Marketing Mix Modelling platforms and associated data products.
- Design scalable data solutions that support modelling, forecasting and marketing effectiveness measurement.
- Ensure modelling-ready datasets are delivered through reliable, governed and automated pipelines.
- Support analytics teams in designing solutions that enable repeatable model deployment and operationalisation.
- Drive consistency across MMM and adjacent marketing analytics environments.
Data Platform & Engineering
- Design and govern Azure and Databricks-based data platforms.
- Define architecture for data ingestion, transformation, storage and consumption.
- Establish best practices for ETL/ELT pipelines, lakehouse environments and analytics workloads.
- Support CI/CD automation for data products and analytics applications.
- Define monitoring, observability and performance optimisation standards.
Governance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Implement architecture standards that support trusted, auditable and high-quality data assets.
- Champion Responsible AI and data governance principles.
- Support the implementation of metadata management and data catalogue solutions.
Stakeholder Management

- Partner with Product Directors, Product Owners and business stakeholders to develop architecture strategies.
- Provide technical leadership across cross-functional data and analytics teams.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Influence decision-making across technology and business functions.
- Work closely with engineering, security and operations teams to support successful delivery.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience as a Data Solutions Architect, Analytics Architect or Data Platform Architect.
- Experience supporting Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) platforms and working with marketing effectiveness tribes (MET).
- Expertise in Azure Data Platform technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks architecture and implementation.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing, lakehouse architectures and analytics platforms.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions into production.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and data engineering best practices.
- Experience creating architecture patterns, standards and reference designs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy and compliance requirements.
- Experience working within Agile product delivery environments.
- Knowledge of Pricing Analytics solutions.
- Experience with marketing effectiveness measurement and consumer analytics.
- Experience transitioning vendor-managed analytics platforms to internal ownership.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Unity Catalog and modern governance tooling.
- Understanding of MLOps and data product operating models.
- Knowledge of TOGAF, DAMA or related architecture frameworks.
