Data Strategy Analyst
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Strategy Analyst based in United Kingdom.
As a Data Strategy Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives that enhance governance, data quality, and strategic decision-making. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will help establish robust data governance frameworks, coordinate critical data initiatives, and contribute to the development of sustainable reporting and analytics capabilities. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic international environment while driving meaningful improvements to enterprise data management. Accountabilities
- Support the delivery of an enterprise Data Transformation Programme by contributing to data strategy, governance, and data quality initiatives.
- Maintain and coordinate the enterprise data backlog, ensuring priorities align with business objectives and program goals.
- Assist in establishing data governance frameworks, domain ownership models, and clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
- Contribute to customer data strategy initiatives by preparing analyses, recommendations, and governance documentation.
- Coordinate data quality improvement activities and support the implementation of a sustainable Data Quality Framework.
- Help define and validate reporting, analytics, and operating model processes that enable continuous delivery and effective decision-making.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support governance forums and strategic program discussions.
- Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to align data initiatives with organizational priorities.

Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Data Strategy, Data Governance, Enterprise Data Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data governance principles, governance frameworks, and domain ownership models.
- Experience supporting data quality initiatives and implementing governance processes.
- Proven ability to manage or coordinate project backlogs, priorities, and strategic data initiatives.
- Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders in cross-functional environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Experience supporting enterprise Data Transformation Programmes is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of Customer Data Strategy initiatives, reporting and analytics operating models, or RACI frameworks is beneficial.
- Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
