Starting Salary: £24,920.81 per annum
Location: Barnsley
Start Date: September 2026.

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to support our CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) Development and Compliance Team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in system support, data analysis, reporting, and user training while developing skills in CAFM system architecture and design.
The successful candidate will assist with system-related support queries, help develop reporting tools, triage requests, and play a key role in supporting CAFM users across Amey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for CAFM system-related queries and issues
- Log, triage, and prioritise incoming requests, escalating where appropriate
- Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting tools and dashboards
- Support data analysis activities to improve system performance and reporting accuracy
- Deliver training sessions to CAFM users across Amey, both remotely and in person where required
- Support the creation, development, and maintenance of user guides and training materials
- Collaborate with the CAFM Development and Compliance Teams on ongoing projects
- Maintain accurate documentation for processes, data, and system updates
- Contribute to continuous improvement of system workflows and user experience

As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a Data Technician Apprenticeship Level 3 qualification which normally runs for 24 months plus EPA. You will be fully supported by our partnered college to achieve this qualification by attending online sessions per week, having 1-2-1 advice and support, e-learning materials, and a whole team of experts on hand for advice and technical knowledge at your office.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 GCSE’s Maths and English is required.
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- A keen interest in IT systems, data, and technology
Please note a security clearance check will be required if you are successful in your application.
