Finance UAT & Enablement Team – Technical Analyst Developer
About the Role
We are establishing a new Finance UAT & Enablement team to support the delivery of large, complex Finance change initiatives, including the integration of Virgin Money and major transformation programmes.
This hands-on and delivery-focused role offers opportunities to shape test coverage and contribute to improving how we approach testing.
Ideal for a tester who enjoys working closely with business users, handling data-rich testing, and delivering high-quality evidence in a regulated environment.

Working Arrangements
- Part-time availability: 30–35 hours per week
- Hybrid model: Wherever possible, with at least two in-office days per week (or 40% of working time for part-time roles)
- Options include Swindon, London, Northampton, or Bournemouth offices
- Near Glasgow? Meetings monthly in your nearest location

Responsibilities
Core Tasks:
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and delivery teams to:
- Understand business processes and testing requirements
- Scope and design test cases aligned with requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Conduct functional and regression testing across change activities
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs
- Identify, log, and track defects, resolving them with cross-functional teams
- Provide clear, timely updates on testing progress, influencing the overall delivery status

Requirements
Minimum:
- Comfort with data-heavy test scenarios
- Technical skills covering data analysis / validation and automation / scripting
- Experience in testing roles, including regression testing, UAT, and test case design
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear test scenarios
- Past collaboration with SMEs and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred:
