Join our team at Waythrough and support people facing challenges around mental health, substance use, housing, or domestic abuse. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.
About The Role
An interesting part-time role based on-site at the Newington office where the service operates from, your challenge will be to help in all aspects of data. Initially, you’ll receive extensive training and support from our Data Team to help build your knowledge of our recording systems and procedures. Then, working with new and existing staff, you’ll be responsible for helping them to understand correct data entry and record-keeping procedures to help us improve data quality and accuracy. As well as regularly working on your own to conduct data cleansing and reporting to further enhance our data quality, you’ll also need to liaise with the Data Manager and Data Team to provide ongoing support to our staff with any queries they have.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
