The Role
Data/Administrative Assistant
- Salary: Grade 2 - Point 4
- £8,226.04 - £8,412.09 Dependent on Level of Service - Actual Salary
- 14 hours a week (days/times to be discussed at interview)
- Term Time Only (39 Weeks)
- Location: Dormston School, Mill Bank, Dudley, West Midlands, DY3 1SN
Required as soon as possible we are looking for a Data Administrative Assistant to join our busy and vibrant team of Support Staff. We are therefore seeking an applicant who can contribute towards this already strong, positive and supportive team.
The role of Data Administrative Assistant supports various areas of school administration with a strong focus on the managing of ParentPay system to support the collection of monies for trips and school dinners; this will include monitoring income and providing reports to responsible staff, creating and issuing letters to parents/carers, contacting parents/carers regarding payments. You will also work alongside our Data Manager to build and maintain databases, support the transition process of students joining us from Primary School and co-ordinate the annual review of pupil data to ensure records held are up-to-date

You will work under the direct supervision of the Data Manager whilst also undertaking other general administration tasks to assist other areas of the school when required.

Key Requirements
- Working towards or gained NVQ Level 2.
Skills & Experience
- Experience of administrative/clerical work.
- Good Numeracy and Literacy Skills.
- Confident use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
