Job Summary
We’re looking to expand our exceptional teams driving product excellence and business growth. As the DATABAR Sales Estimator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our operations, ensuring customers receive seamless service, and delivering accurate, compliant quotations that enhance profitability.

Responsibilities
Core Tasks

Technical Review & Compliance:
- Assess client specifications, electrical, and mechanical drawings to align with DATABAR product requirements.
- Use containment drawings and 3D models to plan equipment routes and determine component specifications.

Commercially Astute Quotation Preparation:
- Produce reliable, detailed costing sheets and quotations that reflect accurate project requirements.
- Ensure quotations meet DATABAR’s technical and commercial standards.

Technical & Customer Engagement:
- Develop and maintain trusting relationships with clients, providing submission documentation as required.

- Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Support:
- Assist Anord Mardix departments in efficiency-focused project management to maximise profitability.
- Handle administrative tasks to support operational excellence.
Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the Busbar Operations Manager.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Preferred: A background in Engineering with experience reading/analysing mechanical & electrical drawings.
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with strong numeracy and literacy skills in a commercial environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
