Who We Are
ThirdEye Consulting is a top-tier Salesforce, Data & AI consultancy!
We specialise in delivering high-impact, complex transformation programmes for ambitious clients. We help forward-thinking organisations tackle serious technical debt, drive their AI agenda, and unlock what's often their most undervalued asset: clean, connected data. As registered partners across multi-cloud providers, we're genuinely technology-agnostic. We choose what's right for the problem, not what's convenient.
AI isn't a bolt-on here. It's woven into how we work, how we deliver, and where we're headed. We have a dedicated AI Innovation team with a real budget, genuine freedom to explore emerging tools, and the kind of open, curious culture that attracts sharp people and keeps them. You'll be working alongside some of the best technical minds in the industry and you'll have the space to grow alongside them.
This is a rare combination: the security of a growing, commercially successful consultancy, with the innovation agenda and agility of a company genuinely at the frontier. Here, cutting-edge isn't an aspiration, it's the standard we hold ourselves to every day. You'll get hands-on with the latest technology, help shape the direction of client programmes, and be part of an AI journey, without the risk of being left behind by it.
If you're technically curious, energised by complex problems, and ready to do your best work, this is the place.
The Role
This is the first dedicated Databricks pre-sales role at ThirdEye, and it comes with real influence. As our Databricks Pre-Sales Consultant, you'll be the technical voice on every Databricks pursuit, partnering closely with our industry sellers, co-selling alongside the Databricks field team, and helping us accelerate from Bronze toward Silver partner status and beyond.
Databricks is a more technical, more complex sell than many enterprise platforms. Depth matters here. You'll be expected to go deep on the Lakehouse architecture, lead discovery, build compelling POCs, and present with confidence from the practitioner on the ground all the way up to the C-suite.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Will Do
Pre-Sales & Technical Winning
- Own the technical dimension of Databricks opportunities end-to-end - from discovery and scoping through to proposal and close
- Build and deliver POCs, demos, and reference architectures that make the business case real for clients
- Run technical discovery sessions that uncover complexity, build trust, and set the project up for delivery success
- Present credibly at all levels from engineers & architects, to data leaders, and executives
- Co-sell with Databricks field AEs, building the kind of relationships that drive mutual pipeline
Practice Development
- Create reusable IP - reference architectures, demo environments, solution accelerators, and technical playbooks - that raise the bar for our practice
- Contribute to our Databricks partner journey, helping ThirdEye hit the certifications, competencies, and case studies needed to advance partner tiers
- Support proposition development for target verticals
- Stay current on the Databricks roadmap (Mosaic AI, Unity Catalog, serverless, etc.) and bring that knowledge into client conversations
Enablement & Collaboration
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with our industry sellers, enabling them to position Databricks confidently and qualify opportunities effectively
- Feed technical insight back into marketing and leadership to sharpen how we go to market
- Help define and evolve our services attach model, ensuring delivery teams are set up to land and expand
What you have done
Must-Haves
- More than 3 years in customer-facing pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical architecture roles
- Hands-on Databricks experience (you've built on the platform, not just presented it) with at least one relevant certification
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and how Databricks deploys and integrates within it
- Demonstrated ability to run technical discovery, scope solutions, build POCs, and present credibly from practitioner to C-level
- A track record of influencing six- and seven-figure deals as the technical lead

Nice-to-Haves
- Existing relationships within the Databricks field organisation
- Experience at a Databricks SI partner or at Databricks itself
- Familiarity with competing platforms (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, dbt, etc.) and how to navigate displacement conversations
What You'll Be Measured On
- Technical win rate on qualified Databricks opportunities
- Practice IP you create - reference architectures, demo environments, solution accelerators
- Influenced bookings and services attached
- Strength of relationships built with the Databricks field team
Who You Are
- A natural technologist who's just as comfortable in a commercial conversation as you are in a terminal window, you understand that winning deals and building great things aren't separate skills
- A self-starter who doesn't wait for the playbook to be written
- Someone who earns trust quickly - with clients, with colleagues, and with partners - because you combine genuine technical depth with the ability to communicate it clearly at any level
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity; you can walk into a complex, undefined data challenge and turn it into a structured, compelling solution narrative
- Curious and constantly learning - you follow the Databricks roadmap, experiment with new capabilities, and bring that knowledge into conversations before clients even know they need it
- Commercially minded without being purely sales-driven; you care about the right solution for the client and understand that's what builds the long-term relationships that drive real growth
- Someone who thinks beyond the current deal - contributing to practice IP, partner relationships, and how ThirdEye shows up in the market is as important to you as the win itself
