About The Role
While primarily remote, this role requires occasional visits to the Bristol office or London.
We are looking for a proactive and eager DevOps Engineer who is keen to learn, grow, and get involved in both the exciting and the more routine tasks that keep our infrastructure running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone with a foundational understanding of DevOps who is ready to expand their skills and take on new challenges.

What You Will Be Doing
Collaborate closely with the development team to deploy and maintain application infrastructure. Assist in the development and support of tooling to streamline the deployment and maintenance of our products. Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm to deploy applications from development through to production environments. Support both in-house and third-party applications, including handling deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Write and manage automation pipelines for application deployment and maintenance. Engage in the day-to-day management of Linux servers via the command line. Document processes and best practices clearly and concisely. Assist in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data infrastructure. Collaborate with data engineers to support data workflows and ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
What You Will Bring To The Role
3-5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering or a related field. Experience with Linux command line and networking, particularly within Kubernetes environments. A willingness to dive into both complex systems and more routine tasks, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. A foundational understanding of security best practices. An eagerness to learn and adopt best practices around containerization and application performance within containers. Experience working with distributed and remote teams. An understanding of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go.

Bonus Skills
Experience with Kubernetes and Helm templating. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS. Previous experience with tools such as Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, MySQL, Ansible, Redis, and Jenkins. Experience with data warehouse products such as MSSQL and Snowflake.
