Day Door Person

Monday – Friday: 09:00 – 17:30

The Role

The Door Person will assist the Concierge team in the delivery of the highest levels of customer service to all residents and their guests. They will need to have a strong passion for delivering great service in a professional manner and be able to work well under pressure.

They will greet residents and their guests upon arrival and assist with all calls and emails to the concierge desk, and residential deliveries. They will assist with ad-hoc resident requests such as transportation bookings, restaurant bookings, theatre bookings and dry-cleaning requests. They will refer any significant lifestyle requests to the Concierge to assist.

Duties Include

  • Maintain impeccable standards of welcoming service; holding doors for guests, assisting with their luggage, calling for taxis and assisting with directions.
  • Greet everyone with a professional and sincere warm welcome, ensure a seamless transition into the reception.
  • Take & provide residents and guest with umbrellas.
  • Answer questions & assist residents with reasonable requests.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Answer questions & assist residents, guests and clients with reasonable requests.
  • Deliver unparalleled level of service in an intuitive and bespoke manner and be an ambassador for 60 Curzon.
  • Ensure all residents receive fast, efficient and friendly service.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Receive laundry, groceries, courier deliveries, etc., scan them and log them in the system.
  • Deliver laundry, food deliveries, groceries, parcels and packages to apartments.
  • Work alongside the Concierge and ensure constant updates on the residents and estate are communicated to ensure smooth running of the daily operations.
  • Escort visitors and contractors to apartments or other areas of the building.
  • Carry out patrols of the various buildings and report any maintenance or security issue.
  • Keep an eye out for suspicious activity in and around the entrance and alert team of any suspicious activity.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the entrance and the front of the building, ensuring it is kept neat and tidy at all times.

The Candidate

  • Previous hospitality experience in a similar role within London super-prime, residential schemes and or luxury hotels.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Service driven, understand the importance of going the ‘extra mile’.
  • Experience serving UHNWIs.
  • Good knowledge of Central London and surrounding local area.
  • High standard of written and spoken English, additional language skills beneficial.
  • Ideally, clean UK driving licence held for no less than two years.
  • Wear correct uniform at all times and maintain impeccable standards of appearance, personal hygiene, behaviour and discipline.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
