Day ECC Veterinary Surgeon

Are you a passionate and dedicated veterinary surgeon looking to make a significant impact in the field of Emergency and Critical Care?
The Opportunity
An exciting role awaits you at a well-established, independent multidisciplinary referral centre, where clinical excellence and exceptional patient care are at the forefront of everything we do.
Join a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility, featuring cutting-edge technology such as:
- MRI
- CT
- Ultrasound
- Endoscopy
- Arthroscopy
- Laparoscopy
- Advanced anaesthesia equipment
This brand new ICU/high-dependency unit (launching later this year) will further enhance the hospital’s ability to deliver outstanding care to complex and critical patients.
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the team, you will:
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing emergency and critical care patients.
- Support clinicians across all departments.
- Perform tasks such as:
- Triage and stabilisation
- Advanced diagnostics
- Anaesthetic management
- Assistance with surgical procedures
- Contribute to the out-of-hours care rota, ensuring seamless support for hospitalised referral patients.

Requirements & Experience
The ideal candidate will:
- Be MRCVS qualified and eligible to work in the UK.
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in primary care practice.
- Ideally have:
- Previous experience in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) and/or ICU.
- Strong clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Show a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
Terms & Benefits
In return for your expertise, you will receive:
- A generous salary starting from £55,000–£75,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
- 6.6 weeks of annual leave (including bank holidays) plus an additional day off for your birthday.
