Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest network of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.
Opportunity in Ardley
We have an opportunity in Ardley for a Day Fuel Reception Operative to join our team working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of early and late shifts, and working one Saturday in seven.

- Salary: £36,567 per year, plus shift and location allowance, and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

The Role
The Day Fuel Reception Operator is responsible as part of a shift team for the safe and efficient operation, predominantly encompassing the fuel reception and plant areas of the ERF. Duties will include:
- Traffic management
- Operating heavy plant
- Operation of forklift trucks and any other machinery as required in accordance with ERF procedures
- Additional duties may comprise of:
- Weighbridge operation
- Plant checks
- Site cleaning duties
- Tipping Hall management
