Day House Coordinator (Prep School)
House Coordinator (Previously House Matron)
Location: Wollaston House, Clifton College Prep School Working Hours: 9:00–5:00 pm (Thursdays & Fridays, term time only, **34 weeks/year}) Reports to: [Housemaster/Mistress (HoM)]
The House Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the wellbeing of pupils within the House environment, working closely with the HoM to ensure smooth daily, routine, and periodic procedures are followed. You will provide pastoral care, act as a point of liaison between pupils, parents, colleagues, and external service providers, and contribute to a supportive and enriching school experience.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day, routine, and periodic house procedures, including but not limited to working hours, meal supervision, and cleaning.
- Provide pastoral support to pupils, assisting them in balancing academic, extracurricular, and personal life.
- Liaise with parents and external agencies ( e.g., doctor, wellbeing services, tutors) to ensure holistic pupil development.
- Promote and maintain high standards of safeguarding in line with Clifton College’s Safeguarding policies.
- Support collaborative initiatives with Housemistress/Housemaster, Heads of Year, and Pu Glo (Pupil Wellbeing Team).
- Maintain records, assist with administrative tasks, and support induction events on house move days.
