Day Programme Recovery Worker
Location: Dover
Salary: GBP £10,400 per annum (Permanent, Part-Time, 14 hours per week)
Closing Date: 10th of July 2026
About The Role
Looking to make a real difference? We’re seeking a compassionate, motivated, and resilient individual to join our East Kent community drug and alcohol service as a Day Programme Recovery Worker. Located in Dover, this role will allow you to help people build sustainable recovery through a structured 12 Step Day Programme.
As a Day Programme Recovery Worker, your work will combine case management, group facilitation, and one-to-one support in a community-focused recovery setting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver structured recovery interventions in both face-to-face and online settings
- Manage a caseload of service users engaged in the Day Programme
- Facilitate daily group sessions and one-to-one interventions
- Conduct assessments, psychometrics, and support service admissions
- Promote the Day Programme across East Kent, collaborating with local recovery teams
- Assist individuals in building positive recovery pathways
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with service standards

Requirements & Person Specification
- Experience working within substance misuse, mental health, recovery, or community support
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in facilitating groups and supporting individuals with complex needs
- A passion for recovery-focused work and empowering others
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings/weekends as needed
