Day Shift Addiction Rehab Peer Support Worker

Peer Support Worker

The Role

As a Peer Support Worker, you’ll use your own recovery experience to inspire, guide, and support others who are beginning their recovery journey. Working alongside support workers and clinical staff, you’ll help residents build confidence, develop recovery skills, and engage with group and community programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide peer-based support and encouragement to individuals in recovery.
  • Share personal insights and recovery experiences appropriately to foster hope and motivation.
  • Support participation in 12-step fellowship, Step groups, and therapeutic activities.
  • Promote positive coping strategies and personal responsibility in recovery.
  • Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and recovery-focused environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings empathy, understanding, and hope through lived experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
