Responsible for the day-to-day operation, inspection, and maintenance of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure within a hyperscale, mission-critical data centre. Supported the delivery of high availability by ensuring all plant and equipment operated safely, efficiently, and in accordance with operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Performed routine inspections and monitoring of critical electrical and mechanical systems, identifying and responding to faults and alarms.
- Operated and maintained infrastructure including HV/LV electrical systems, UPS, generators, HVAC, chilled water systems, pumps, BMS, EPMS, and life safety systems.
- Supported planned preventative maintenance (PPM), corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs to minimise downtime.
- Assisted with switching operations, isolations, and permit-to-work activities in accordance with approved procedures.
- Monitored system performance and recorded operational data to support reliability and compliance.
- Escalated critical issues and supported incident response to maintain operational continuity.
- Supervised specialist contractors, ensuring work was completed safely and in line with site standards.
- Maintained accurate maintenance records, shift logs, and asset documentation using CMMS platforms.
- Assisted with commissioning activities, equipment testing, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Contributed to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and operational resilience.
- Maintained high standards of housekeeping and compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
