Dayforce Consultant - Payroll / WFM

Dayforce Payroll / WFM Consultant

UK | Remote-first (with client travel) Full-time | Permanent

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Dayforce Payroll / WFM Consultant to join our growing team at Silver Cloud.

This is a client-facing consulting role within our Dayforce Practice, supporting organisations through the design, configuration, and delivery of Dayforce Payroll and Workforce Management (WFM) solutions. You’ll work closely with clients to understand requirements, translate business needs into effective system design, and support successful delivery across the full implementation lifecycle.

This role would suit someone with strong hands-on Dayforce experience in Payroll and/or Workforce Management, who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across multiple clients and projects. You’ll be part of a supportive, technically strong team and have real scope to shape your specialism as the practice continues to grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support Dayforce Payroll and/or WFM implementations across discovery, design, configuration, testing, go-live, and hypercare
  • Work closely with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into best-practice Dayforce solutions
  • Configure Dayforce in your area of specialism, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and aligned to client needs
  • Support workshops, requirements gathering, solution design discussions, and system demonstrations
  • Troubleshoot issues during implementation and provide clear, practical recommendations
  • Build trusted client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout delivery
  • Work closely with internal consultants and project teams to ensure successful outcomes
  • Maintain strong delivery standards, documentation, and communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across the practice, including knowledge sharing and delivery excellence

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
